Raj Jalan, MBA in Marketing and Finance from XLRI Jamshedpur, is also a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College Kolkata and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from ICFAI University, India.
With over a year experience of working as a consultant for some of the big multinationals around Asia-Pacific region, he has the understanding of the market and market research. Preparing relevant research designs and putting rigour in his data analysis techniques is his forte. 40 months experience with an ITC distributor in Kolkata has also given him the understanding of how the market works, especially, for the CPG industry. |

Saket Sanganeria, MBA in Personnel Management and Industry Relationship from XLRI Jamshedpur, is also a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and Chartered Accountant (CA), ICAI.
He has a 26 month work experience with a CA firm responsible for income tax planning, auditing and industrial compliance for various clients. With his experience in consulting companies with their tax issues, his firm is now one of the leading tax consultants for small and medium business i the region. |

| Pingali Venugopal, Dean & Professor (Marketing), XLRI, Jamshedpur |

Pingali Venugopal, a Post Graduate in Management and Fellow in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, is currently Dean and Professor (Marketing) at XLRI, Jamshedpur. He has been a Marketing faculty at XLRI, Jamshedpur, since 1994. He has also been a visiting faculty to the Indian Institutes of Management in Ahmedabad, Calcutta and Lucknow and the American University of Armenia.
Professor Venugopal has authored the books on “Marketing Channel Management: A Customer Centric Approach”; “Managing the Sales force: A Motivational Approach”, "Sales and Distribution Management: An Indian Perspective" and “Input Management, The State of the Indian Farmer: A Millennium study”. He has presented papers at national and international conferences as well as published articles in leading national and international journals. He has also been involved as a consultant with several projects for both the profit and non-profit sectors. |

| Dr. Sharad Sarin, Professor (Marketing), XLRI, Jamshedpur |

Sharad Sarin is BE [Electrical], MBA and Ph D [Marketing]. He has been a faculty member since 1976, with XLRI, Jamshedpur. He has been the Dean of XLRI [1984–1988] and a Visiting Faculty to the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad, the University of Rhode Island, Kingston [USA], Colorado University at Boulder [USA] and Helsinki School of Economics [Finland]. He has presented seminars in around 20 universities in the US between 1984 and 2001. He has participated and presented papers in several conferences in India and abroad. For the last two years, he is actively involved in organizing seminars on “Marketing for Masses” aimed at generating ideas to improve quality of life of the masses.
Over the last 30 years, Prof Sarin has been involved in several consultancy assignments including marketing studies for a variety of industrial and household products. Prof. Sarin is widely known as the originator of the novel concept of ‘Marketing Fair.’ Amongst the NGOs, Prof Sarin is on the advisory board of Tata Steel Rural Development Society [Jamshedpur], and Krishi & Grameen Vikas Kendra [Ranchi] – two leading NGOs in the area of rural development.

Dr Patro is a B.Sc. in Engineering, has a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from IRMA, India. He has completed his doctorate from the Berhampur University, India. He has more than 17 years of experience in teaching, research and training. He has handled consulting assignments for many organizations in the field of Marketing and Strategy. His areas of interest are Strategic Marketing, Product and Brand Management, Services Marketing and Rural Marketing. He has been the faculty co-ordinator for the Marketing Committee at XLRI (MAXI) for many years now and is also the co-ordinator of the MAXI FAIR held in XLRI for almost 30 years now. |

Dr. Israel is a M. Com and M. Phil from Madras University and has completed his Ph D from Pondicherry. He is also an FDPM from IIMA. He qualified the National Educational Testing (Master’s Level) conducted by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi in 1988 and was awarded both Junior and Senior Research Fellowships for pursuing his doctoral thesis on Conjugal Power Structure in Purchase Decisions which he had completed in 1994 from Pondicherry University.
Areas of interest include Business Research Methods, Marketing Research, and Data Analysis for Marketing Decisions and Service Loyalty Measurements.
He has conducted Development Programmes on the Application of Statistical Tools through SPSS and has published several articles in the refereed journals. He has recently published a book on the methods of data analysis used in market research. |

Dr. Gourav Vallabh is a Certified Risk Manager (GARP, USA), a Chartered Accountant (ICAI, India), a Company Secretary (ICSI, India), Ph.D. (UoR, India),and also has completed his LL.B.
A Gold Medalist in B.Com and M.Com exams. Published research papers in referred academic journals and presented papers in conferences. He was honored with “Best Young Researcher Award – 2004” jointly by ICWAI and IAA & also won the best paper award in XXV All India Accounting Conference.
He has undertaken Consultancy assignments for the Reserve Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Government of Rajasthan. Conducted in-company training programs for Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, SRF Limited, ETA Dubai, Citibank, Union Bank of India, Tata Steel, Kanbay India Pvt. Ltd, JUSCO Ltd. and many others in the area of Finance and Risk Management. Practices. Currently also associated with the Government of Rajasthan in the capacity of Honorary Advisor to the Ministry of Revenue. |

Uday Damodran has been a Professor of Finance at XLRI since 2005. Prior to this, he has been a member of the Faculty of Finance at IIM Kozhikode, Goa Institute of Management and the Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneshwar.
He is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and also been awarded an M.Stat. by the Indian Statistical Institute Delhi and a B.Sc. (Physics) by the Kerala University.
He teaches and researches in the areas of Corporate Finance, Investments, Behavioural Finance, Derivatives and Risk Management. He has authored an on-line course on Bond Markets. He has been a consultant and trainer to various organizations. He is also on the Advisory Board of SDG Technologies. |

Prof. Sabyasachi Sengupta is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Cost Accountant (ICWAI) and a Company Secretary (ICSI). Has worked for various organizations, across few industries for eight years, before joining XLRI (Jamshedpur) in the year 1998.

Prof. Varshney is a Fellow in Marketing Management from MDI, Gurgaon. Worked on Shopping Behaviour in India for Doctoral Dissertation and was awarded the Best Management Thesis award at IISc Bangalore in the year 2006.
He has over 10 years of work experience and has worked in both industry and academia. His last assignment was with Sales Excel Pvt. Ltd. (Gurgaon) (A sales and Marketing Consulting firm) as a Principal Consultant and has consulted companies like Britannia, Tata Sky, Nokia, Cargill Foods etc. in the capacity. In past has worked with Organizations like Blue Dart Express Ltd. and Thermax Ltd.
