Kalyan Ashram is working for the development of Vanvasies (tribals) of India. At Present the population of tribal in India is about 9 crores. According to normal ratio the children population is 1.75 crores. Vanvasies who are known as Janjaties are divided in 700 big and small groups. They are living in 304 districts, out of the total 590 districts in India. Despite the efforts of Govt. of India, NGO's and Local developmental groups lacs of tribal children are not getting exposure of educational, health and sports development.

Kalyan Ashram is working on this issue since last 5 decades. We are running Schools, informal education centres, Hostels for boys and girls, Student sports activities through Eklavya Khel-Kud Kendra, Health awareness camps and medical services as required in the area. Vitamin deficiency project is very effective activity through which we are distributing Vitamin A tablets to protect them from blindness.

Divya Chaya Trust started its journey twenty three years back and aims to give a second chance to the children who have no means. To keep in mind it sponsors orphan, semi-orphan and under privileged children for their education. It provides special fund for higher education who have secured more than 50% marks in Madhyamik (class Xth standard board exam) pariksha and provide career counseling by the professional experts. It runs non-formal KG school for the children of two and half years to five years, have a computer center for the rural children, run spoken English class for the rural children. They also have a unit with rural women called Pallavan where we train them to develop their inborn skill like kantha sewing and then give them work according to order.
